All you need to do is insert the block into your drawing in the paperspace, (not model space) so that you can use the scale bar on your layout sheets. It’s nothing fancy – but hopefully it will be useful!! Scale bars are a constant head ache for a lot of people, so hopefully these scale bars will make life a little easier. So, I have now put together my first dynamic block. I would highly recommend any of his courses if you are looking to improve your AutoCAD skills. His tutoring is clear and well thought out. The course from Jaiprakash at TheSourceCAD is excellent. I have always seen the benefit of using dynamic blocks, as a great time saver, but never got around to learning how to do it myself.
